Dr Christina David

Christina David's research interests relate to self-directed approaches to social support, human rights, and strategies for building inclusive communities.

Christina publishes in the area of consumer directed policy reforms with a particular interest in how such reforms influence the social inclusion of disadvantaged groups. Christina’s doctoral thesis explored the relationship between the rhetoric and the lived experience of individualised funding and service approaches for people with disabilities. She has a strong engagement with the social support and care stream of the Social Change ECP and through her teaching and research roles has developed strong internal and industry collaborations. She is also a lecturer in Social Work.
