Dr Iris Kucuk

Iris’ research interests are in the area of psychology of grief and loss, forced migration, and postcolonial and literary studies.

Her PhD focused on exploration of political violence on (trans)formation of cultural identity in postcolonial literature.

Iris’s current research focus is on the experience of grief and loss in the context of the ARC Discovery Project “Missing people, missing stories in the aftermath of genocide” led by Associate Professor Hariz Halilovich.
