Farahdiba Bachtiar

Farahdiba is working on her PhD thesis on multinational corporations in emerging markets focusing on the case study of Indonesian SOE

Farahdiba is a PhD candidate in the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies, RMIT, and is an awardee of LPDP (Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education). Her research focuses on multinational corporations of emerging economies, particularly the internationalisation of Indonesia’s SOE. She holds a MA in International Relations from Gajah Mada University under the DIKTI Scholarship Program and was a program officer of Institute of International Studies (IIS) UGM. She has previously worked as junior lecturer for the International Relations Department at Hasanudin University where she completed her undergraduate study.
