Staff in the Regulatory Compliance Branch of the Fair Work Commission identified a need for research and development in this area, specifically targeting the operational requirements of investigators for the Commission. Consultation with staff is needed to identify the specific circumstances that arise in conducting Fair Work Commission investigations, and how these might best be dealt with by Regulatory Compliance Branch investigators.
