UNICEF Research methods used for evaluating the impact of interventions are important to UNICEF's work, but are sometimes met with limited understanding.

  • Project dates: 2014
  • Grants and funding: UNICEF Italy

Limited understanding of the research methods used for evaluating the impact of interventions revolve around when to apply them, the relevance and limits of generalizing their findings, and their advantages and disadvantages. For these reasons and also because of the prominence of impact evaluation designs and methods in the field of international development, UNICEF identified capacity building in this area as a priority for UNICEF staff involved in research and evaluation.
